About the role#
This position offers practical training for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store while gaining experience in the daily operations of a pharmacy. This role focuses on patient interaction, health services, and the professional responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality, consent, and privacy requirements.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Build skills in patient communication, disease state management, and drug therapy.
- Expand your knowledge of over-the-counter products and patient counseling.
- Learn the operational skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.

- Compensation: Paid position, ranging from $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
