About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Student to join our team in Burnaby. This role offers practical experience in a community pharmacy setting to support your academic training. You will work under a local Associate-Owner while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer consent and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain strict customer confidentiality.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Learn about the expanding roles of a community pharmacist.
- Gain hands-on experience in drug therapy, disease state management, patient counseling, and OTC products.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a student working toward becoming a pharmacist.
- You enjoy providing a helpful and positive experience for customers.
Location & details#
- Location: 4303 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC.
- Schedule: Part-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site.
