About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students in a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store, gaining exposure to the daily operations of a pharmacy and the expanding role of the community pharmacist. The role is designed to enhance your academic learning through real-world training.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Manage consent processes for patients.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Develop skills in patient communication, over-the-counter product knowledge, and disease state management.

- You must be a current pharmacy student.

- Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.75 per hour, based on experience and location.
