About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a local store to support health and convenience services while learning about the evolving role of the community pharmacist. This role provides practical training to prepare you for a career in pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who enter the pharmacy.
- Manage customer consent and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional presence so you are easily recognizable to the public.
- Develop communication skills with patients, colleagues, and other health professionals.
- Gain knowledge regarding over-the-counter products, disease management, and medication treatments.
- Learn the operational skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.
