About the role#
As a Flex Patient Care Technician, you will provide daily care to patients and support their families. You will work within a team to help patients with basic hygiene, mobilization, and daily living activities. This role is open to nursing students and requires a flexible approach to meet the needs of our patients.
What you'll do#
- Assist patients with routine hygiene, feeding, and mobilization.
- Collect and record vital signs, intake and output, and blood glucose levels.
- Observe patients and report any changes in condition to the registered nurse.
- Document functional care and procedures in the nursing database.
- Orient patients and families to the clinical environment and safety hazards.
- Help transfer patients and move equipment as needed.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CNA certification or active enrollment in an accredited nursing program.
- Successful completion of the Patient Care Technician orientation.
- The physical ability to transfer and position patients, which includes lifting up to 35 lbs.

- This is an on-site, full-time role.
