About the role#
The Management and Sales Summer Internship is a 10-12 week paid program. It offers hands-on experience in our retail stores to provide insight into sales, store operations, and management. You will work in a business-to-business environment, travel with a Sales Representative, and spend structured time with our management team. Interns also complete a team-based project that addresses a real business challenge.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and recommend items to customers.
- Contribute to sales goals through effective support.
- Develop a strong understanding of store merchandise to answer inquiries.
- Restock shelves, manage inventory, and handle visual merchandising.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions, product mixing, and store maintenance.
- Unload deliveries and organize stockrooms to ensure efficient inventory flow.
- Participate in training sessions and follow store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve customer concerns.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Current enrollment in a college or university, specifically as a rising or current Junior or Senior.
- Major in Business Administration.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- At least one year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service.
- Previous experience in a team-oriented setting.
- Ability to communicate in more than one language, specifically Spanish.
- Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Internal applicants must have a meets expectations rating on their most recent performance appraisal and have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses.
