About the role#
As an Associate Product Owner intern, you will join the technology team to help turn business ideas into working software. You act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are clear and that projects move from conversation to delivery. This is a full-time, paid, four-month contract position.
What you'll do#
- Translate business requests into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process notes.
- Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and team demos.
- Partner with developers, Scrum Masters, and delivery managers to track progress.
- Create process maps, data flows, and documentation to help teams understand project goals.
- Collaborate with the QA team to support test scenarios and release readiness.
- Use SQL and data analysis to investigate questions and support troubleshooting.
What you'll need#
- Experience writing requirements, user stories, and action-oriented documentation.
- A basic understanding of Agile delivery methods.
- A willingness to learn delivery tools like Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to SQL, APIs, or process mapping is helpful.
- Students or graduates in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Data Science are encouraged to apply.

- This role is based on-site at our office in Markham, Ontario.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
