About the role#
As an Intern for Technology and Global Platforms, you will support the development of our global systems and build AI agents. This program offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to work on projects that impact our business. You will join a team focused on platform engineering, AI infrastructure, and developer experience.
What you'll do#
- Manage product feed data hygiene, including catalog attributes, taxonomy mapping, and quality assurance.
- Develop feed monitoring and error reporting tools across domains.
- Enhance the Shade Factory web application with new functionality and AI developer tooling.
- Build AI agents and skills to support project tracking.
- Support the Sephora OneTech Community regarding AI-SDLC tooling.
- Assist with platform development testing, documentation, and the creation of a reusable regional playbook.
- Present your automation prototypes, technical findings, and optimization recommendations to engineering and operations stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics.
- You are graduating in 2027 or 2028.
- You have foundational programming or scripting experience in Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Bash.
- You have a basic understanding of Linux, networking, APIs, Git, cloud computing, containers, or CI/CD concepts.
- You have exposure to cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code, observability concepts, or AI/ML platform technologies.
- You can break down complex problems, learn new technology, document your work, and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You have a strong interest in AI infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or distributed systems.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time remote internship.
- You must permanently reside and work in the United States.
- You must be available from June 14 to August 20, 2027.
- Your work schedule must align with 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific Standard Time.
- You must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions.
