About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program running from May 31st to August 6th, 2027. You will join the Application Engineering team to design, build, and ship software that solves business problems. This role involves working across business and technology teams to turn requirements into working features. You will participate in code reviews, document your work, and learn engineering best practices.
What you'll do#
- Write clean, tested code and SQL.
- Partner with stakeholders and engineers to define and build features.
- Use AI coding assistants and agents to aid your work, while verifying that their output is accurate.
- Automate application builds, testing, and deployments using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Take part in code reviews and document your technical work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time college sophomore or junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
- Working knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and hands-on experience with at least one language such as Java, C#, Python, or TypeScript.
- Understanding of SQL and relational database concepts like joins, aggregations, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with Git and DevOps practices.
- A builder mindset demonstrated through personal projects, hackathons, or coursework.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to testing your work.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
