About the role#
The Applications Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience in the development and support of signal integrity devices for high-speed data communications and video broadcast markets. This role focuses on the evaluation and lab testing of platforms for our semiconductor products. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Burlington, Ontario.
What you'll do#
- Conduct testing, measurement, and troubleshooting of high-speed signal integrity devices.
- Perform lab measurements and provide technical support to Applications Engineers.
- Assemble and verify evaluation boards for customer use.
- Develop and evaluate documentation for test platforms.
- Manage inventory for evaluation platforms and use SAP to coordinate the procurement of components.
- Organize and package customer samples for shipment.
- Plan the installation of lab benches and coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and calibration.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in analogue and digital circuit theory.
- Experience troubleshooting PCBs and systems.
- Practical skills in soldering techniques.
- Familiarity with CAD tools.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and the ability to work independently.

- Location: Burlington, ON, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site, Monday to Friday.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $26 - $28.5 CAD per hour.
