About the role#
The Marketing & Alliances Co-op works under the guidance of the Marketing Manager to support initiatives across social media, content creation, event coordination, and sales collateral. This role provides hands-on experience in vendor management, brand alignment, and CRM maintenance. You will learn how to support alliance enablement and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns while working in a collaborative team environment.
What you'll do#
- Support social media content execution to drive brand awareness.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Create and manage versions of sales collateral to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with alliance and co-sell enablement tasks, including partner portal upkeep.
- Help coordinate industry events, including logistics and promotions.
- Perform website hygiene tasks and draft blog posts.
- Maintain CRM data accuracy and review social media engagement metrics.
- Distribute internal marketing communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies on various projects.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or equivalent experience.
- 0-1 year of marketing experience, including internships or class projects.
- Basic project coordination and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and a willingness to learn content management systems.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform basic data review and analysis.
- Interest in brand positioning, cybersecurity, and tech industry partnerships.
- Punctuality and reliable attendance.
Location & details#
- Location: Rochester, New York.
- Modality: This is an on-site position requiring daily office attendance.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
- Travel: Occasional travel (10-15%) for industry events and conferences may be required.
