About the role#
Phoenix Systems is looking for an intern to help identify, market, and sell surplus inventory. You will gain experience in inventory management, online sales, and digital marketing within the residential security industry. This is an unpaid internship for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Identify, organize, and catalog surplus or at-risk inventory in the warehouse.
- Photograph products to ensure high-quality visuals for online listings.
- Write accurate and informative product descriptions.
- Create and manage listings on Facebook Marketplace and other approved platforms.
- Respond to customer inquiries, manage negotiations, and coordinate shipping logistics.
- Track and report on inventory movement and sales performance.
- Work with the marketing team to promote surplus inventory and improve listing visibility.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma, GED, or active high school enrollment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with online marketplaces like Facebook Marketplace or eBay.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to clear a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 75 pounds.

- Location: Alpharetta, Georgia.
- Work modality: On-site in a warehouse setting.
- This is a full-time, unpaid internship.
