About the role#
This position supports the Drilling Fluids Technical team with technical execution, planning, and project support. You will gain exposure to real-world energy projects, including well summaries, project offset analyses, and the development of technical programs. You will work within a collaborative team to ensure the accuracy and quality of technical deliverables.
What you'll do#
- Support the Drilling Fluids Technical team with planning and project execution.
- Prepare well summaries, recaps, and conduct project reviews.
- Develop technical programs and proposals.
- Liaise with Sales, Operations, and Management teams to gather information for deliverables.
- Assist in the development of new or improved technical processes.
- Review, track, and prioritize task requests.
- Organize and file job-related documents.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an undergraduate degree or diploma program, with an intent to return to studies after the work term.
- Preference for students in Engineering Sciences or Engineering Technology.
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with Power BI is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to new challenges.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
- Modality: On-site.
- Status: Full-time and paid.
