About the role#
The Seattle Reign FC performance team offers an educational internship for the Summer 2026 term. This role provides experience in a professional sports setting, focusing on performance training and program design. This is an unpaid internship that requires the candidate to receive academic credit through their university.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the setup and execution of all team training sessions, including GPS tracking and conditioning.
- Help prepare and conduct team mobility, lifting, and activation sessions.
- Support the collection and analysis of performance testing and monitoring data.
- Assist with the setup, breakdown, and maintenance of weight room and field equipment.
- Supervise and demonstrate proper technique during lifting and field sessions.
- Contribute to curriculum projects and performance science initiatives.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Current NSCA-CSCS certification.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Proficiency in computer use and a willingness to learn new software.
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with players, coaches, and staff.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
- Enrollment in a program that provides academic credit for this internship.
