About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in student-athlete development within the UVA Athletics department. You will work on marketing and media projects while supporting student success initiatives. This role is open to students who are currently eligible for Federal Work-Study.
What you'll do#
- Create graphics for Student Success and affinity groups while following UVA Athletics branding guidelines.
- Use photo editing and graphic design software to maintain a consistent style for digital advertising.
- Assist with technical and administrative outreach for leadership, academic, community, and career initiatives.
- Support the creative process for events such as the Hoos Choice Awards and learning academies.
- Collaborate with athletics staff to manage student success workflows.
- Maintain detailed records regarding student-athlete interests and progress.
- Ensure all work complies with NCAA, ACC, and UVA Honor Code regulations.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current undergraduate student at UVA.
- You must be eligible for Federal Work-Study.
- A resume is required for your application.
- Academic background in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration is preferred.

- Location: Charlottesville, Virginia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: $15 per hour.
