About the role#
The Seattle Mariners are hiring an intern for the Baseball Operations department. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Seattle. We are looking for candidates available to work from March 2027 through mid-October 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the Pro and Amateur Scouting departments with administrative tasks, player evaluation, and research.
- Assist with video preparation and help organize for Amateur Draft meetings.
- Contribute to Advance Scouting by preparing the Major League Advance Scouting report.
- Conduct statistical, economic, and financial research as needed.
- Coordinate day-to-day scouting operations.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, though relevant work or playing experience may be considered.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or Data Science.
- Basic Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Experience with player evaluation and video preparation is helpful.

- This role is located in Seattle, Washington.
- The position is on-site and full-time.
- Compensation is $23 per hour.
