About the role#
Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a DoD SkillBridge intern to support United States Space Command requirements at Redstone Arsenal. This role focuses on project scheduling and risk management for multiple engineering efforts. You will act as the local data anchor, coordinating updates and relaying information between teams in Huntsville and Colorado Springs.
What you'll do#
- Build, baseline, and track project execution schedules using MS Project.
- Manage the project risk register, including updating impact scores and mitigation strategies.
- Lead recurring virtual synchronization meetings via MS Teams.
- Standardize and distribute weekly IMS and risk data to leadership.
- Maintain master project schedules independently.
- Solicit schedule and logic updates from functional areas to identify potential slips or opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Minimum four years of military operations, logistics, or command-and-control planning.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically MS Project, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Ability to manage tasks independently with minimal direct oversight.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for virtual collaboration.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

- Travel: Local travel within the Huntsville area in support of US Space Command operations is required.
- Eligibility: This position is restricted to Active Duty Service Members participating in the DoD SkillBridge program.
