About the role#
The Reliability and Maintenance Intern program offers hands-on experience within a food manufacturing environment. Interns work alongside experienced engineers to contribute to operational projects and participate in a structured program featuring executive speakers, networking events, and professional development sessions.
What you'll do#
- Implement strategies to improve the reliability and operational lifespan of plant equipment and systems.
- Analyze failure data to coordinate initiatives aimed at reducing downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop and maintain predictive maintenance schedules.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS degree program in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Aerospace, Automation, or Manufacturing preferred).
- Completion of at least sophomore-level status. You must remain enrolled as a student during the internship.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to complete assignments accurately and on time.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer of 2026.
- Willingness to relocate for the duration of the internship.

- Compensation: Paid at $22.00 per hour.
- Additional: Relocation assistance is available for those moving 50 miles or more.
