About the role#
Scaled Composites is hiring engineering interns for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in Mojave, California. You will work on real projects that contribute to our aircraft and manufacturing goals.
What you'll do#
- Perform hands-on engineering and manufacturing tasks.
- Operate test equipment and aircraft avionics.
- Collaborate with team members to solve engineering problems.
- Read and understand Safety Data Sheets.
- Perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting materials up to 30 pounds.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated flexibility and range in your school, work, or project history.
- Independent thinking and a self-starter mindset.
- A desire to work in a hands-on environment.
- United States citizenship.
