About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern in the Managed Care division, you will support the development, coordination, and execution of pharmacy programs for pharmacists, patients, and stakeholders. This role provides exposure to marketing, pharmacy operations, and clinical practice within the Greater Vancouver region. You will work 16 to 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing communication materials and advertising tools to promote health and wellness programs.
- Work directly with the public in selected clinical programs under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Support the implementation of care plans, vaccination services, and chronic disease management programs, including medication management.
- Assist with day-to-day pharmacy retail operations at select clinical store locations.
- Coordinate and participate in community and in-store health promotional events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Faculty of Pharmacy at an accredited university, having completed your 2nd or 3rd year of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft desktop applications.
- Experience with the Kroll computer system.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical topics, including chronic diseases and vaccinations.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned region.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour.
