About the role#
This is a paid internship based in Grand Forks, North Dakota. You will work on-site with the Sanford Sports team to gain hands-on experience in athletic development, sports medicine, and performance research.
What you'll do#
- Coach athletes to help them increase their performance across various ages and skill levels.
- Work with Sanford Sports leadership and coaches to support healthy communities.
- Assist with projects while working directly with athletes and teams.
- Develop skills in sports performance, nutrition, physical therapy, and mental performance.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to learn about internal team processes.
What you'll need#
- You are currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an Associate or Bachelor degree program in Kinesiology, Health Administration, Public Health, Nutrition, Exercise Science, or a similar field.
- Knowledge of sports performance and strength and conditioning coaching is preferred.
- Previous coaching or personal training experience at any level is a plus.

- Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota.
- Term: Winter/Spring semester with rolling start dates.
- Compensation: Starting rate of $15.00 per hour.
- Work modality: On-site.
