About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering co-op to join our team for a 6-month term from January through June 2027. You will work on the electrical aspects of product design, including feasibility studies, component selection, thermal management, and antenna design. You will collaborate with product management, firmware, and hardware leadership to make design tradeoffs and choices. This role requires a commitment to full-time employment and is based in our San Francisco office.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research on the latest silicon possibilities from semiconductor companies.
- Evaluate system feature tradeoffs and create system specifications.
- Assemble evaluation kits, board hacks, or quick-turn fabrication for concept evaluation.
- Take a concept from block diagram to schematics and through layout.
- Create a validation plan and characterize the full electrical system.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in progress in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field with a target graduation date of May-June 2026.
- Prior intern or co-op experience working on high-volume hardware programs.
- Solid fundamentals in digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Hands-on experience with test instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
- Ability to commit to a full-time 6-month co-op.

- Modality: Hybrid (in-office Tuesday through Thursday).
