About the role#
The Account Development Representative intern role serves as a starting point for those interested in a career in SaaS sales. You will work at the front of the go-to-market strategy, gaining exposure to how sales organizations function by working closely with top-tier executives. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Hunt for new leads and map enterprise accounts.
- Build demand for the full line of Samsara products.
- Develop core enterprise technology sales skills.
- Engage with prospective customers to understand their business operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited 4-year Bachelor's degree program or graduation within the last year.
- Ability and willingness to make 50 cold calls per day.
- At least 6 months of sales experience or prospecting ability, such as through coursework or competitions.
- 6 months of experience using Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly.
- Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications are preferred.

- This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote.
- This is a rolling internship.
