About the role#
This paid internship program offers hands-on experience across active construction projects in the Southeast. You will work alongside experienced professionals to see how projects move from initial plans to final closeout. The program runs from May 24, 2027, through August 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers and superintendents with daily construction operations on active job sites.
- Handle project documentation, including daily reports, RFIs, and change orders.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and client interactions.
- Contribute to estimating and preconstruction activities.
- Assist with safety inspections and quality control processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in both office and construction site environments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous construction or related industry experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, AutoCAD, or Revit is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks on job sites, including walking on uneven surfaces and climbing stairs or ladders.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role.
- Positions are available in Greensboro, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Wilmington, North Carolina; North Charleston, South Carolina; and Savannah, Georgia.
- The role requires regular travel between job sites and offices within the assigned region.
