About the role#
The WXAV Deputy Sports Director assists the Sports Director in managing the station's broadcast output. This role focuses on coordinating coverage for university and local high school sports. It is a paid student employment position that helps you build professional skills in communication and teamwork.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Sports Director to build an on-air broadcasting schedule.
- Coordinate logistics to broadcast as many SXU and area high school sporting events as possible.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student at Saint Xavier University.
- You must be Federal Work Study eligible.
- A background in Communications is preferred.
