About the role#
This position involves producing Windy City Thunderbolts baseball games directly from the WXAV on-air studios. It is a paid, full-time student employment opportunity based on a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Manage the broadcast of Windy City Thunderbolts games.
- Connect remote broadcasting equipment to the field.
- Play pre-recorded underwriting spots during half-inning breaks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Saint Xavier University.
- Federal Work Study eligibility.
- Prior experience producing sporting events for WXAV 88.3FM.
- Proficiency with WXAV broadcasting equipment, including the on-air audio console, WideOrbit automation system, Adobe Audition, and TieLine remote equipment.
- Knowledge of baseball and the structure of a game.
- A resume and cover letter must be included with your application.

- Compensation: $17.05 per hour.
