About the role#
The Promotions Director of Student Media manages outreach for the department to the Saint Xavier University community. This role focuses on building awareness for news and campus events through social media and direct engagement. You will gain experience in communication, teamwork, and critical thinking while working 10 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Develop and carry out promotional strategies for Student Media.
- Plan and host events on campus.
- Recruit and manage a student Street Team to assist with promotion.
- Coordinate with the WXAV Music Directors to secure giveaway prizes.
- Oversee department social media accounts in partnership with the webmaster.
- Collaborate with the business manager to promote sponsors and organize off-campus events.
- Schedule on-campus remote broadcasts.

- Current enrollment as a student at Saint Xavier University.
- Federal Work Study eligibility.
