About the role#
The Transfer Center is looking for a student worker to provide administrative support. This role offers hands-on experience in a higher education setting. You will help with daily operations while building skills in communication, organization, and teamwork.
What you'll do#
- Enter transcripts for incoming freshman and transfer students.
- Follow up on transfer advising appointments by email and phone.
- Proofread transfer guides.
- Organize files and identify records for scanning.
- Assist with ROAR orientation as needed.
- Provide support for Tau Sigma and Peer Mentor programs.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student at Saint Xavier University.
- You must be Federal Work-Study eligible.
- You must provide a resume and cover letter.
- Reliability and punctuality for your assigned hours.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Location: 3700 W. 103rd Street, Chicago, Illinois.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $17.05 per hour.
- Schedule: Maximum of 10 hours per week.
