About the role#
Saint Xavier University is hiring a Student Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and organization of campus facilities. This part-time role is designed to fit around your academic schedule.
What you'll do#
- Perform custodial tasks and maintenance in classrooms, offices, and auditoriums.
- Handle routine cleaning such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and polish windows, woodwork, walls, furniture, and metal equipment.
- Clean whiteboards and other classroom surfaces.
- Sanitize sinks, water fountains, and restrooms.
- Set up spaces for university events.
- Keep assigned closets and equipment clean and safe.
- Clear snow and ice from stairways and walkways, including applying salt.
- Report necessary repairs and any unsafe conditions immediately.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student at Saint Xavier University.
- You must be Federal Work Study eligible.
- Your application must include a resume and a cover letter.
- Knowledge of Saint Xavier University buildings.
- Strong time management skills.
