About the role#
The Engineering Coordinator Intern supports change management projects within our manufacturing operations. You will coordinate documentation release through the Engineer Change Request process, working alongside design engineering, production, procurement, sales, and finance teams.
What you'll do#
- Ensure product configuration information is accurate.
- Plan and review the ECR approval process and track items through to completion.
- Generate management reports, including action item lists and inventory status updates.
- Perform system queries to support costing and engineering tasks.
- Audit Bills of Materials and routers to maintain data accuracy.
- Solve practical problems related to the ERP system.
What you'll need#
- Vocational training or general education.
- Three to five years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to follow written procedures and interpret instructions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, ERP systems, and costing.
