About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Assurance Internship for Winter 2027. You will work on-site in Denver, Colorado. This role is intended for students currently pursuing a degree in Accounting.
What you'll do#
- Learn about client businesses, industries, and their specific accounting or control systems.
- Develop a working knowledge of the RSM audit approach and internal tools.
- Assess risks and evaluate the internal control structures of our clients.
- Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting issues.
- Draft financial statements using prescribed formats.
- Build an understanding of industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 90 credit hours toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Reliable transportation, as travel to client locations is required.

- Compensation: $34 to $40 per hour.
