About the role#
This paid internship offers a 12 week, hands-on experience for students to contribute to active construction projects. You will work alongside experienced professionals to apply your classroom learning to the electrical construction industry. Throughout the term, you will take ownership of meaningful work while developing your technical, professional, and leadership skills.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to active projects and take on meaningful responsibilities.
- Work with teams in project management, engineering, BIM, estimating, or procurement.
- Participate in networking opportunities across the company.
- Apply technical knowledge to real-world construction challenges.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later, with rising junior or senior status preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in, or willingness to learn, Microsoft Office applications.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Previous construction internship experience is a plus.
