About the role#
This is a paid, 12-week summer internship for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical construction industry. You will work on active projects and take ownership of meaningful tasks alongside experienced professionals. This role is full-time and requires on-site attendance.

- Contribute directly to active construction projects.
- Apply your classroom knowledge to real-world technical challenges.
- Work across various departments including Project Management, Engineering, BIM, Estimating and Preconstruction, and Procurement and Supply Chain.
- Take on responsibilities that help you build a foundation for your future career.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in, or a willingness to learn, Microsoft Office applications.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Previous construction internship experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Texas, with locations in Coppell, Amarillo, Houston, El Paso, Childress, Abilene, Pflugerville, and Austin.
- The internship takes place during the Summer 2027 term.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
