About the role#
Rose Medical Management is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our team in Grand Rapids. This role provides hands-on experience in a medical device manufacturing environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support product development and manufacturing processes. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Support the Project Engineering team with new product development and improvements to existing manufacturing processes.
- Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Participate in early prototype builds and production runs.
- Assist with developing and maintaining process and tooling documentation.
- Support basic process validation activities, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on daily tasks.
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Computer, Industrial, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Preference for candidates with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering.
- Natural problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Dependable, organized, and adaptable to new tasks.
- Motivation to take initiative on projects.
