About the role#
Rodefer Moss & Co, PLLC is hiring an Accounting Intern for the Winter 2027 season in our Knoxville office. This is a paid, full-time opportunity where you will work on-site to gain practical experience under the guidance of our professional staff.
What you'll do#
- Perform accounting, audit, or tax procedures as directed by supervisors.
- Assist with the preparation of individual tax returns or financial statements.
- Record transactions in ledgers using our software programs.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client matters.
- Take on additional accounting or audit tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an Accounting degree with an expected graduation date within the next 2 to 3 years.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Proficiency with computers and calculators.
- A completed college Tax course is preferred.
- High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
