Rodan Energy Solutions is seeking a co-op student to join the HR and Talent Acquisition team for the Fall 2026 term. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the full recruitment cycle and support various HR initiatives. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that impact the employee experience and recruitment operations.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and update employee records, recruitment trackers, and HR project documentation.
- Draft offer letters using the ATS/HRIS and manage first-day logistics, including equipment preparation and onboarding tasks.
- Support the recruitment cycle by managing job postings, screening resumes, and coordinating interview schedules.
- Assist with candidate communications, background checks, and credential verifications.
- Contribute to special HR projects, such as retention strategy initiatives and the development of training materials.
- Research and benchmark HR best practices to support ongoing departmental projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a University or College co-op program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., JazzHR) and HRIS (e.g., BambooHR) is considered an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: This is an on-site position requiring 5 days per week in the office.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 2026 – December 2026).
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid position ($20.00 - $22.00 per hour).
