About the role#
This is a full-time, paid HR Administrator co-op position based in Mississauga. You will join our HR and Talent Acquisition team to support daily operations and internal projects. This role provides direct exposure to the full employee lifecycle, from initial recruitment to onboarding and retention initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and update employee records, recruitment trackers, and HR project files.
- Draft offer letters using our HRIS and coordinate new hire logistics, including equipment setup and welcome communications.
- Support the recruitment cycle by managing job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews with hiring managers.
- Assist with special HR projects, such as retention strategy initiatives and process improvements.
- Research and benchmark HR best practices to support ongoing team projects.
- Handle administrative tasks such as preparing training materials, process documents, and health and safety documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a University or College co-op program focused on Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to maintain discretion when handling confidential HR and candidate information.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems like JazzHR or HRIS platforms like BambooHR is an asset.

- Location: Mississauga, Ontario.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September to December).
- Work Modality: This is an on-site role requiring 5 days per week in the office.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
