About the role#
As a Security Analyst Intern at our Wallops Island facility, you will support the Security Team in protecting personnel, assets, and intellectual property. You will work alongside mentors to apply industry concepts to real-world challenges while gaining professional experience in physical security, risk assessment, and network infrastructure research.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of security education programs.
- Conduct intelligence and risk assessments.
- Perform network infrastructure research and physical security tasks.
- Lead specific development projects.
- Collaborate with your mentor and team members to solve security challenges.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings with supervisors to track progress and learning.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an associate, bachelor, master, or doctorate program in criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or a similar field.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship concludes.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of general work experience.
- Ability to work full-time and on-site for 12 consecutive weeks starting in January, February, or March 2027.
Preferred qualifications include a GPA of 3.5 or higher, experience in the aerospace or tech industry, and military experience (active duty, reserves, or ROTC).
