About the role#
The 2027 Summer Associate program is a 10-week opportunity designed to provide law students with hands-on experience and insight into the practice of law. You will work closely with experienced attorneys on substantive legal work across various practice areas, gaining exposure to client interactions, case management, and legal strategy.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
- Draft memos, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions.
- Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and case strategy sessions.
- Collaborate with attorneys on complex transactions and litigation matters.
- Attend and contribute to internal training sessions and workshops.
- Assist in pro bono projects and community service initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school with at least one year of studies completed by the start of the program.
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to professionalism, ethical standards, and client service.
