Intern, Inventory Planning

About the role#

The Inventory Planning intern will participate in all facets of the inventory planning process. This role supports the team by developing reporting, documenting internal processes, contributing to data analysis, and managing specific activity transitions.

What you'll do#

• Review daily, weekly, and monthly processes to drive continuous improvements and streamline reporting.
• Partner with senior buyers to review stock levels and develop processes to optimize min/max levels.
• Develop and drive vendor performance reporting in collaboration with the Inventory Planning manager.
• Integrate FourKites data with the process improvement team.
• Review overdue orders and backorder processes to recommend methods for streamlining and automating buyer responses.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Access, with intermediate skills in other MS Office applications.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex data and technical information.
