About the role#
As a Development Support Intern, you will work within a team to help manage, automate, and improve our development systems. You will be assigned a specific project to evaluate and enhance tool functions, such as security, server management, or AWS infrastructure. This role offers exposure to cloud technology, automation programming, and Agile methodologies while you work alongside technical mentors.
What you'll do#
- Apply your academic background to projects in a team setting.
- Research and propose improvements for current system implementations.
- Recommend solutions to technical issues and examine software alternatives.
- Contribute to project planning and document your work throughout the term.
- Constructively challenge and refine processes related to your assignment.
- Present a summary of your project to the executive team at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to successfully complete all required screenings prior to hire.
- Interest in system configuration and support, including Linux and Windows platforms.
- Familiarity or interest in languages such as Bash, Python, Ansible, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
