About the role#
Join the engineering team for a 12-week paid internship focused on building the future of software creation. You will contribute to features that impact millions of developers, ranging from AI-powered development environments to the infrastructure that enables real-time collaboration. This role involves shipping meaningful code that helps democratize software creation by optimizing cloud infrastructure, building developer tools, or enhancing AI agents.
What you'll do#
- Ship real features to millions of developers using the Replit platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, product managers, and AI researchers.
- Build and optimize developer experiences to make coding accessible to everyone.

What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least one semester of schooling remaining after the internship completion.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and comfort with full stack development.
- Passion for developer tools, AI, and making technology accessible.
- Ability to thrive in environments where you can move quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
- A systematic approach to problem-solving and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to various audiences.
- A focus on automation and staying current with industry best practices.
