About the role#
Regeneron is hiring Co-ops for the Upstream Bioprocessing and Cell Culture Development team. You will work within the Preclinical Manufacturing and Process Development group to support the processes used to scale up and produce medicines. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Tarrytown, New York.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and optimization of cell culture and bioreactor processes.
- Design and test new feed and media strategies to improve cell growth and productivity.
- Run bench-scale and pilot-scale bioreactor experiments and analyze the data.
- Support reagent and cell bank production activities.
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to troubleshoot process challenges.
- Document experimental procedures and results to support process development.
- Gain hands-on exposure to mammalian cell culture and general laboratory techniques.
- Present findings and progress updates to the team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Chemical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
- You must be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position.
- Ability to commit to 40 hours per week.
- Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, or previous work is preferred.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Terms: Winter 2027, Summer 2027, and Fall 2027.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an hourly rate range of $17.90 to $50.90, depending on education level and degree program.
