About the role#
The Access Your Future Service Intern program provides a path for students interested in a career as a Service Technician. This role offers part-time employment at our Fargo location while you complete your education. You will gain hands-on experience, receive company work uniforms, and have the potential to transition into full-time employment after graduation from your diesel technology program.
What you'll do#
- Document machine information, repairs, parts, and fluids on work orders.
- Keep your work area clean and maintain shop tools and equipment.
- Identify and discuss solutions for customer service needs.
- Stay current on technical and product knowledge for our equipment.
- Follow all safety rules and company policies.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.
- Participate in company training and team meetings.
- Build positive relationships with peers and management.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an approved Diesel Technology program.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Mechanical skills and experience with hand and pneumatic tools.
- Ability to assemble and perform maintenance on equipment.
- Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
