About the role#
As a Relationship Manager Commercial Markets Intern, you will work in a proactive, face-to-face client role within our Commercial Banking platform. This 28-week program provides on-the-job training, self-study materials, interactive online courses, and classroom sessions. You will be paired with a mentor to support your development as you learn to provide service to commercial business clients regarding accounts, operating services, credit, lending, and deposits.
What you'll do#
- Deliver financial advice and solutions tailored to client needs.
- Use sales planning, prospecting, and pre-call planning tools to manage your workflow.
- Develop needs-based sales strategies to grow revenue and deepen client relationships.
- Apply a continuous-improvement approach to maintain high standards of client loyalty.
- Serve commercial business clients with their accounts, credit, lending, and deposits.
What you'll need#
- A post-secondary diploma or degree, ideally in Agriculture or a related field.
- Demonstrated sales success, including experience with prospecting, cold calling, and acquiring new clients.
- Experience with financial statement review, computer modeling, and analysis.
- Proficiency with modern communication tools, including digital banking, social media, and mobile applications.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- An entrepreneurial attitude, self-motivation, and a commitment to continuous learning.

- Modality: On-site.
