About the role#
As an intern with the Auxiliary Power Group (APU) Customer Service team, you will support efforts to manage product performance and customer relations. You will work alongside a team of experts focused on product safety, reliability, and maintenance costs for a fleet of 6,000 APUs. This role involves collaborating with customer engineers and integrated teams to meet the strategic needs of the program.
What you'll do#
- Support customer engineering by analyzing technical data and systems.
- Analyze data from repair facilities and operators to calculate the reliability of APUs and line-replaceable units.
- Work with engineering teams to implement processes that assist with program management.
- Review repair data to ensure that reliability history is accurately captured in the database.
- Present analysis and recommendations to the Program Management Team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university for the duration of the internship.
- Current studies in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Excellent communication skills in French (spoken and written).
- Working knowledge of English (spoken and written) to interact with international clients and interpret technical documentation.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position requiring presence at the Longueuil facility Monday through Friday.
- Requirements: The candidate must pass a background check and obtain necessary authorizations for the handling of controlled goods.
