About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to support aircraft engine development and validation. You will lead small to medium technical and operational projects while gaining a broad understanding of gas turbine engine strategy, manufacturing, and design. This role requires the ability to work autonomously in a professional setting.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate across multiple departments including Design, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain.
- Prepare materials for the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to report on and monitor project progress.
- Develop and maintain plans to track complex tasks.
- Support the broader project organization with various operational assignments.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and MS Project.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks of varying urgency.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, including the ability to read technical drawings and instructions.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain clearances for controlled goods.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday with flexible hours.
- This is a paid internship.
