About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work under the supervision of a Group Leader to support our engineering teams. This role is based on-site in Mississauga, Ontario.
What you'll do#
- Create or revise detail and assembly drawings in 2D or 3D.
- Define the final product for Turbine, Mechanical, Compressors, Combustion, and External Components modules.
- Collaborate with Design, Analytical, and Manufacturing departments.
- Support engine production in the Product Center Engineering Component Modules.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian college or university throughout the internship.
- Pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Design and Drafting or Mechanical Aerospace Engineering Technology.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to work on-site in Mississauga.
- Knowledge of CATIA V5 or similar CAD software.
- Developing skills in 2D and 3D part definition.
- Developing applied mathematical skills, specifically for tolerance stack-up calculations.
- A methodical, industrious, and self-motivated approach to work.
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Mississauga, Ontario.
- Term: January 5, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday.
- Compensation: 22.20 CAD to 31.80 CAD per hour.
- Requirements: Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and obtaining required clearances for handling controlled goods.
