About the role#
This Equity Co-Op position offers hands-on experience within the Equity Portfolio Management team at Clark Capital Management Group. You will gain insight into quantitative equity research and the management process while working directly with Portfolio Managers and Equity Analysts. This role requires a commitment of 4 to 6 months.
What you'll do#
- Manage and compile data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Update, generate, and distribute daily reports for the equity team.
- Use investment platforms like Bloomberg and FactSet to refine investment screens and portfolio monitoring.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain existing tools and improve them using Python.
- Automate workflows and build new tools using Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, and Access.
- Assist with quantitative research tasks including back testing, regression analysis, and factor analysis.
- Support fundamental equity analysis, presentations, and portfolio reporting.
What you'll need#
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in quantitative finance.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with financial data platforms such as Bloomberg or FactSet.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Current standing as a Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Finance, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science.
