About the role#
As a Quantitative Trading Intern, you will join our team for the Winter 2027 quarter. This role is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with our trading desks, developers, and strategists. You will participate in the Belvedere Trading University program, which provides the training needed to understand our proprietary systems and market-making operations. We provide sponsorship for this position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with analyzing daily trades and identifying significant trends.
- Rotate between different product groups to learn our specific trading strategies.
- Collaborate with your team on daily strategy adjustments to adapt to the market.
- Engage in quantitative research and apply those strategies to our operations.
- Analyze large datasets to find insights that support our trading decisions.
What you'll need#
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Clear and concise communication abilities.
- A collaborative mindset for working within team-based environments.
- A demonstrated ability or willingness to learn programming languages like C++, C#, and Python.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to improve efficiency.
- Current enrollment in a degree program with a graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or Communications.
Location & details#
- This internship is located in Chicago, Illinois.
- The role is fully on-site from January 4th to March 12th, 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
- You must be able to work at a desk for long periods.
