    About the role#

    Quality Electrodynamics (QED) is hiring an Electronics Manufacturing Intern to perform various mechanical and electronic assembly tasks. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Mayfield Village, Ohio. The position operates on a rolling basis, with schedules that can adjust to fit your school or co-op requirements.

    What you'll do#

    • Assemble products by following documented procedures and standards.
    • Follow all safety and ESD guidelines, including the use of required personal protective gear.
    • Remove support material and sand DDM printed parts based on training and work instructions.
    • Operate hand and power tools as needed.
    • Keep the warehouse area clean and organized.
    • Identify potential issues and suggest improvements to current processes.
    • Work with your team to maintain a cooperative environment.

    What you'll need#

    • You are currently on a path to achieving a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
    • Legible handwriting for completing production records.
    • The ability to use hand tools and equipment after receiving training.
    • The ability to complete tasks correctly and on time.
    • Familiarity with working safely in a plant environment is preferred.
